PlayStation 3 here, too.

It's got HDMI out, digital audio out if you want to use a DTS Surround Sound system, and you can always play some kick a** games on it, too.

Or if you have DSL/cable internet, the PS3 will do NetFlix now.

Just buy a name brand that you like. You can get a good one for just over $100.

I'm a Samsung guy. The TV and Blue Ray player link to one another and work very well together. I also think Samsung makes excellent products all around.

My surround sound is Yamaha. I'm still using an old school Magnavox Blu-Ray Player.

I don't think you can go wrong with any player. Some just have more features and some take a little bit more time to load. My dad bought a Vizio from WalMart for around $130 and it has wireless internet built in so he can stream Netflix to his HDTV. This is a very nice option if you want a lot of movies.

That sounds like a dang good deal, I love Netlix on my Xbox. Of course if you want the all in one package get a PS3, but that a bit more expensive than a blueray with wireless built in.
