Ya know I figure they're using IP addresses to to monitor when you vote. That means a person ought to be able to vote from work and home. Hmmmm??

/me votes from his lap top at home.

yea we vote from all 3 of our computers at home everyday. Rumor has it that the Hospital in first place might not be eligible because they had a MRI machine before.(contest is for hospitals that don't have one) They were hit by a tornado and are building a new Hospital so if thats the case wouldn't the insurance cover that.

After a couple of years it gets easier but never goes away. I lost a brother several years ago and its far easier to deal with now but about twice a year I'll still break down. You're never completely ok with it.

Have you heard any more on this? Insurance should cover replacing theirs, you guys still need one.

I have voted every day, I made it one of our mandatory tasks every day also. So you are atleast getting 15 votes a day from us.

I would have to imagine that insurance is atleast covering the actual value of the machines at the time the tornado hit. But that is just an assumption.

It took about 5 years for it to get easier, my case was a little different because my dad was in coma. My sister and I had to make the decision to take him off life support because he had a living will. She was 25 and I was 18, she still has very hard times dealing with the loss even though he and I were closer. I cannot tell you when it will get easier for you, I think the fact that I know I honored his wishes and was man enough to let him go helped me.

My dad stayed with my sister, I was there helping take care of him 24/7, lots of nights of only 2 hours sleep, but it was worth it. Then he died 12-8-05, and the ground was frozen in his home town, so he couldn't be bured until 6 months later - ended up scheduled for the Friday before Fathers Day. Having it stretched out for so long made it alot harder. But, this year isn't as hard as last, I guess each will get easier.
Thanks
