I don't have a crock pot... Might have to go look at the goodwill and see if i can find one for cheap cuz that roast idea sounds delicious!

The chili is a great idea. I make that all winter long. If you're close to a university with an ag school, like Purdue, they usually have a butcher block where the students practice and you can get everything for about half price. Other than that 2 cans of tuna $1.25 and a box of mac and cheese $0.75 is about 2 meals. Eggs I eat eggs breakfast, lunch, and supper. Scrambled add in some cheap ham cheese and salsa, fried, w/toast as a sandwich, hard boiled, etc etc. Remember Hot Sauce makes everything better.

i dont like waiting on my crock pot to cook the food.it just making hungrier

I wish we had that... i don't think we do though. My gramp's did teach me about the discount meat section at the grocery store and when to be there after they stock it...

Another good cheap college food is find a farmers daughter whose parents like you so they invite you over for dinner all the time and then take the leftovers home

ramon noodles and spam with hot sauce and some cheese every once in awhile to mix it up, i would also do spam and rice i had got me a little 20 dollar rice cooker even hot dog wienies with rice and ramon all kinds of stuff you can mix with rice and rice is cheap sad part is i still eat this while i am deployed all the time hell even when the wife is mad i stiil eat this

Sorry guys, but there is nothing cheap about women... I've found being single is much easier on the wallet than being in a relationship...
