Months ago Pioneer made the best Plasma.... since they quit making TV's Panasonic makes the best rated Plasma.

From what I've found plasma TV's have reliability issues at higher altitudes & some can generate a high pitched whine, since we are at 6K feet ASL think we will skip them for now.

Panasonic rates theirs for use up to 7800 feet.

Out of all the LED/LCD TV's we saw and played with today Sharp & Samsung had the best picture/styling & the plasma with the best picture was a Samsung....Really liked how the Sharp plasma looked as far as picture quality.

Think we are going to go with something in the 46 to 55 inch range.....

When I was looking for a flat screen tv, I was told that if you play video games you'll damage the PLASMA TV

Bull I play ps3 all the time and never heard of someone e having a problem.
