Default Shipping Help

Ok so a guy this guy calls tonight and says hes interested in buying my 4 wheeler he says he will pay in what ever type of transaction I feel most comfortable with and that he is going to pay a shipping company to take it to Washington. I told him that I still owe some money on the 4 wheeler and that I would talk to the loan company tomorrow and see if they could maybe just deal with him and get the money out of his personal account send him the title and write me a check for the extra amount and he said he was perfectly fine with that. Ok so here is the part I found weird I got bored and did a search on the phone number he called me on and its a land line from vancouver, canada now the guy sounded like he was from canada every other word was "eh" . But why would he be shipping it to washington is that a way to get out of paying the tax's.

Im just kinda freaked out about the whole deal with all the scams that are going on.

He may have family or freinds in Washington. it would be several hundred dollars cheaper for him to pick it up on this side of the border and drive it cross then it would to have it shipped over the line. Should be truckng brokers in the phone book you can use since he's payin the bill. Only sure way to get your money besides the loan is to have a bank note or postal money order and the wheeler doesnt move till you have cash in hand. It's harder to fake these two items cause you can call the bank and verify the bank draft and the post office will have a record of transaction that they verify before they cash em in.

Its not as simple as taking it across the border. He will have to drive across the border, pick it up in washington and them import it into Canada. Its a big process eh...

Vancouver is only a few minutes over the border....lots of people have items shipped to friends in Bellingham, Everett, Seattle, etc and go from there.

See I thought it took alot to actually get it over the border even if he took it him self. I just thought it was kinda weird he said "im having it shipped to washington" but never said anything about actually living in canada. Thats why I figured if I just went to the company I actually have the loan through they would know the safest way to do the transaction.

well he said that he will pay for the 4 wheeler and completly take care of the shipping just let me know what to do and when. He said the reason hes willing to go through all of this is because there isnt many 4 wheelers like mine there and the few that are like that they want twice what im asking so he will still come out ahead by having it shipped, which is weird to me but here in the redneck state they arent hard to find. I guess I will just wait till I talke to the loan company and see what they say im sure they are up to date on all the scams going around.

The other route you can go for payment is using Paypal. He can pay with Visa, Mastercard or paypal, whatever card he wants. Doing this means that the credit card company ensures you get payed. If something falls through it's between him and them and you are covered.

the problem with the postal money order is that when its international you cna only do amounts up to $700.00 and there is a limit on how many money orders you can make in one day (donsent say the total online). The guys seems like he really want to do the transaction through pay pal but I really dont trust pay pal.

I HATE PAYPAL, but they do insure all transactions for whatever that means.
