Your truck and Your girl

so, i have been contemplating, and like everyone else, i love my truck. And like some on here lol, i love my gf. I cant quite get them to cross though lol. i think it would be neater than shit to have her drive my truck (and quite sexy) but She doesnt like to drive my truck bc it a ol' handshaker, but how many of you let the women in your lives drive your truck? or better yet, how did you convince them not to worry about tearing it up? lol

Shoot ..... my wife loves my trucks so much, she took the last two of three from me.

She snagged my '03, saying I could use it when the weather was bad and she would drive it around town. Even though I traded it in for my '08, my boys still call it "Mama's Truck".

Then she snagged my '06 (which I was going to tune and mod) after I traded in the '03 because she conned me into getting a toyhauler and her truck couldn't tow it as well as I thought it should.

Now she drives my '08 because of the train horns .....

rubberfish 02-26-2011 07:38 AM

Lynda has only driven mine a couple of times and says it's
too unmanageable. I explained it would get easier with a
bit of practice but she says she's fine in the co-pilot seat.

BIGREDGOAT 02-26-2011 08:16 AM

well see mine loves my truck, but she is just so scared to tear something up. i cant get it through her head that shit breaks, lol

turbostang7 02-26-2011 08:33 AM

mine didn't like it because it was a handshaker, swapped it to an auto, now she says it has too much power :ouch: can't win for loosing i guess lol. i told her the little skinny pedal doesn't always have to touch the floor but her exact quote was "but i like the black stuff out of the stack" so she doesn't drive my truck much anymore lol

RAW 02-26-2011 08:50 AM

My Fiancée loves driving my truck. Apparently there is a slight performance difference between it and her Corrolla! Pretty much the only time she gets to drive it is when I've had too many wobbly pops.

Horns 02-26-2011 09:28 AM

What! You guys actually let women drive your trucks... :rolleyes2:

duh, it always pays off at the end of the drive, or sometime in the near future

Horns 02-26-2011 10:54 AM

Yeah but is it always worth it?

gunman41mag 02-26-2011 11:02 AM

My wife only drives my truck, when her 2010 HONDA ACCORD EXL is getting serviced, but she doesn't like my truck, cause it's to BIG & LONG:humm:

bluedieselram 02-26-2011 11:19 AM

i let a girl i used to date drive my truck while i worked on her car abot an hour later i get a call she got stuck.so i go out & she bottomed my truck out in mud that was like 4in deep after that she never drove it again

cummins army 02-26-2011 12:00 PM

Billy D 02-26-2011 01:23 PM

The Warden doesn't like driving Goldie at all, unless the wagons broke down, or she's outa gas:nope:

Farmboy 2.0 02-26-2011 01:32 PM

Mine cant drive my truck because its a mixer stick. But im gonna have to teach her how to drive my stick.... I mean truck

Beatty97 02-26-2011 02:11 PM

My wifes cr sets in the garage all winter to keep the Ohio salt off of it but come spring time I cant keep her from driving it.

Dusteroo 02-26-2011 02:21 PM

mine won't touch mine with a ten foot pole , she can drive a stick just fine but evidently a crewcab long box is more cumbersome than a Mustang huh go figure:humm:

dmaxtothemax 02-26-2011 07:50 PM

hahahahaha... my girls scared to death of my truck... "it's too loud", "too big", "too high", "hurts the environment" :argh:, etc, etc, etc... But she sure loves riding shot gun in it when she doesn't have to drive her crappy 94 camry with busted head gasket... I WILL drive over her car one day... :rocking: .......... (once we buy her something new :w2: )

rednekroper05 02-26-2011 09:49 PM

mine loves diesel but hates driving mine cause it a handshaker. ive tried to teach her to drive it but its hard since shes a full foot shorter than me . but she loves and wants a dmax like my moms.
as far as tearing stuff up i usually blame her if she has drove it that way she wont bitch about spending money to fix it so it wont break. I know its kinda wrong but it works good

GuyWithA24Valve 02-27-2011 11:18 PM

Well my GF loves my truck but she can't quite drive a handshaker yet. I've been working on teaching her though

EasternAggie 02-28-2011 12:22 AM

No GF right now, but I have taught a couple how to drive a stick :hellox:

Coco2992 02-28-2011 01:07 PM

I cant keep the girls out of my truck. the worst part is when they get my keys there is no stopping them.:dang:

Smoke 'em 02-28-2011 02:27 PM

My gf loves drivin mine, had to teach how to drive a stick but she got the hang of it real fast! Nothing better than sittin across from a smokin hot girl, drivin a badass truck!:rocking:

cougar 02-28-2011 02:34 PM

I bought my wife her own truck. Wonder how long it's going to take her to total it like she did the last 3.

BRE 02-28-2011 02:42 PM

Mine likes my truck and would love to drive it an we attempted it once but the ole stick in the floor scares her. She wants one as bad as i did when i didnt have one. She has her sights set on a little one ton auto and thinkin about bitin the bullet on that one so thats my story. Im still workin on teaching her how to drive the stick. She too is scared she will break it.

cummins bronco 02-28-2011 02:45 PM

my wife is always tryin to steal my keys, but she must beat on it cause its always out of gas when i get it back!!

bluedieselram 02-28-2011 04:59 PM

dang she must really beat on it to be outa gas & not out of diesel

EasternAggie 02-28-2011 10:27 PM

Ha ha mine thinks she burnt my centerforce out but that allowed me to justify the extra money to get a even better one. In all reality i think between the ejwa and a leaking input seal i was the one that burnt it out.

Uncle Bubba 02-28-2011 11:07 PM

I made this mistake once. My truck was five years old and didn't have a scratch except for inside the bed. The first time she drove it the first dent showed up from her backing into a fence post.

rednekroper05 03-01-2011 08:23 AM
