I'm with ya on proving itself but if it does, 10 grand could turn into a nice little investment and a guy would be pissed he didn't put more in
I remember my dad telling me he had a chance to buy shares of pepsi cola for a few cents a share when it first came out, and he said why would anyone in their right mind buy into that when we already have coca cola. He said that was one of the biggest mistakes he ever made.

also google and yahoo too............I member when yahoo went public trading, I thought to myself what is a yahoo and why would anyone need one

personally one of the biggest plays I think a feller can make is buying stock in independent oil and gas cos hoping they wiil be purchased by big oil, currently all big oil is looking for reserves, so any independent with hugh reserves is gonna be nabbed up at a hugh gain to the share holders...........IMHO

if a barrel of oil is up I invest in oil and gas stock, sometimes its invested for a day or just part of a day sometimes its there for over a week, the big thing is if you miss the wave there is another wave comming just like surfin, folow the price of the barrel all day and if it drops then bail out

natural gas is currently at 4.35 per thousand and has been as high as 12 buck so if the world ever figgers out that nat gas is the enviromentally correct thing to do then look out and hang on for a hugh gain..........hugh

as a general rule when its colder than **** in new york where all the analists are then energy goes up........every damn time

another thing I do is watch the big mouths like Cramer...when he says buy a certain stock then peeps musually do , sometimes its good tom get on his coatail for a ride

 

another key is to invest all ya can.........................I live on 1400 per month the rest goes into stock
