It was -2 with a windchill of -35 when I went to work at 4:30 this morning. We have had 30-50mph winds all day and the wind chill is still -10-30f with a temp of 3 right now. I also fell in love with my truck again because I didn't plug it in yesterday and it started with 3 seconds of cranking and no grid heaters.

Hmm one week ago it was -20 to -30 here without the windchill... so it's warming up is what you're saying?

Windchill is silly anyways.

There are diesels sitting everywhere over here. Supposedly we haven't seen these temps in decades. Since it never gets cold a lot of people don't understand that fuel gels, air brakes will freeze to the drum overnight, etc... At work the thing that got us was drivers not draining the air tanks and the whole system freezing up.
