It was -2 with a windchill of -35 when I went to work at 4:30 this morning. We have had 30-50mph winds all day and the wind chill is still -10-30f with a temp of 3 right now. I also fell in love with my truck again because I didn't plug it in yesterday and it started with 3 seconds of cranking and no grid heaters.:rocking:

It's 24 here in Waco tx with a wind chill of 9. I know it's not cold to most of u but a texas cold sucks as.

Hmm one week ago it was -20 to -30 here without the windchill... so it's warming up is what you're saying?

Windchill is silly anyways.

-22 at 7am, gelled to the max...... Warmed up to a balmy 10 above this afternoon.

Seen a few trucks and heavy equipment getting towed yesterday. :D

There are diesels sitting everywhere over here. Supposedly we haven't seen these temps in decades. Since it never gets cold a lot of people don't understand that fuel gels, air brakes will freeze to the drum overnight, etc... At work the thing that got us was drivers not draining the air tanks and the whole system freezing up.

yeah its too dang cold for texas. since i dont drive my dodge daily i did not relize my batteries are to week to turn it over. im hoping that it didnt get cold enough to gel my diesel. Luckly i have a school truck to drive.

I have a buddy down in Texas right now working. He grew up in Alberta all his life, just like I did. He is laughing his :moon: off about all the drama over a little snow. Well, at least what we classify as a little snow.

im not complaing about the snow and ice its just a pain in the butt because both my trucks are not set up to handle this weather. and most of these idiots around here cant drive on dry pavement to begin with.

Right now it has gotten cooler in MIAMI, it's 72*:w2::w2:

its -14 right now............I am headin for the hottub for a good soakin:c:

Yeh it 6 now supposed to really cool off again but a 10 days ago we hit -29 air temp so it is warming up. P.S RAM CR 24V my wife's dad grew up in Ekalaka MT neat area out there but not much around!

It's typical Alberta weather. In a week we went from +42F to -31F, and will be back up to +40 for Friday again. The melt-freeze cycle is awesome. :argh:

wow that is quite the temp. range We haven't even seen much above freezing all winter

Kinda but more or less the earth is like a self cleaning over. The earth had ice age before we were here. We are not helping by no means with all this raw diesel smoke. Lol. Everybodys only living to die right...
