Thats a illegal search of your vehicle. Buddy of mine was pressured by a cop to do it and cop saw the horns.

Technically you are right, but I wouldn't want to be the one to test it and force them to find something else wrong. All they have to do is have "Cause" and that term is purposefully written into the law to be vague.

I have horns, they are cool but don't be fooled they are no where near what real train horns are. I have 5 trumpets and 200 PSI tank, they are loud but again. Not train horns, hornblasters are about the squeakiest and highest pitched horns on the market.

If you have these loud horns, and you honk them at someone that is not expecting it, they swerve hit a guard rail, bridge pillar and it kills someone or seriously injures someone it will not be funny.

I have them because I tailgate a lot at Cowboy, Rangers and TCU games, we use them all the time to pump up the scene, but never do I use them on the road for fear of scaring someone.

Also, in Texas Air Horns are not illegal. It does not matter if a cop asks to see them or not, because they cannot and will not write a ticket for having air horns. I know some states have different noise laws, but typically air horns do not reach the decibel level to break state noise laws.

Yeah I know what you're talking about, and thats usually because there is too much pressure hitting the horns. Put a regulator on that main line to drop the pressure to around 120 to 140 psi and they sound much better.

They arrived at about 7pm.
Installed in my friends heated garage with 4 others and it took 8pm to 3:30AM!!!!!! and that was with someone who installed them before.

Got to use them legitimately yesterday. Some kid was messing with his radio in front of me at a red light and it turned green and he still didn't go. 7 Seconds of waiting later I have him a blast.

LMFAO you should of seen him jump. He looked in rear view mirror then He took off like a bat out of hell. Car behind me was even laughing.

Above poster, thats why you don't mount them visib!

Nice!

I did a run by of the Firebird Raceway in Eagle, ID over the summer. I stopped by the place that helped me finish my install and there were some folks in there that were at the track, and overheard me thanking them (I was running out of vacation time and had to go back to my overseas job) and asked if it was me that buzzed the track.

Took them outside and showed it off, and even made some folks in the shop jump and scream. Man, people just start looking for a train even when there aren't any tracks around.
