I'm typically not a dodge fan at all.. but I've got my sites on a really fairly priced 2001 Club Cab Sport 4.7 v8 Dakota. It's in excellent shape and has some new parts (including 32" hankook dynapros). I really like it cuz it's got the 4 doors (huge for me), a pretty powerful 4.7, and some sweet tires. What kinda mileage do these trucks get? Are they a decent truck? It's got 120k miles or 112k miles I think.

my older brother has had basically that exact truck, minus the big tires. he bought it new, i have no idea how many miles are on it, but it gets around 20mpg, with a 5 speed and a very conservative driver. its not a bad little truck, and i've seen him pull some pretty heavy loads (for a wanna be pickup)

Dad has one and both him and I like it, good running trucks. But on that note with the auto theres no way youll be getting anywhere near 20 Try 16 average if your nice to it. Thats stock height with 31" at tires just crusing all hwy. Also a thing to look out for is the exhaust gaskets leak and its next to impossible to fix them since its aluminum head and steel bolts... They rot in and like to break off in the head and then you have a problem.

Although I must agree with that statement, the only reason I'm thinking about it is 'cuz its a 4door, 4x4, and has 32" dynapro atm's.
Thanks for the input 'Rattler. 16mpg is teh gay when I cruise 1500 miles every other weekend .
Believe me Son, I agree. I hate dodge. I'm not gonna do it though; got a call at 6am that my apt in VA burned down. No time for new trucks now I 'spose.
I 100% agree with that.
