We used to put up a bunch of lights on the house, but since having the kids, we only put candles in the windows (22 of them) and a lighted wreaths on the front door and three garage doors. Thats enough....

 

THIS GUY'S FROM AROUND COLUMBUS OHIO, he does light and laser orchestra's, you might remember it from the Miller Beer commercials, a guy i went to school with lived not far from him.

We do a little on the inside of the house, but nothing on the outside.. too much like work for me... I might do a few this year if I have some beer to put em up with.

 

I have been putting them up due to neighborhood pressure.. just around the edges of the house with the isicles and solid bulbs mixed in.. then the Snowman, deer and canycane stuff on the front lawn... On our street it is not who has them but who doesn't

I put some up, nothing to crazy tho. Just around the edges of the house I feel like climbing on. Dunno why I really do it out here, nobody but us and the cows see it. The girls do like 'em tho. We don't do much on the inside other than a tree and if we have any extra garland or wreath stuff I usually wrap it around the brush guard on the truck.

 

For 7 years I never put up Christmas lights, because I NEVER TOOK 'EM DOWN!!!!!!!

i live next to a gay guy now, my god you wanna talk about decorations, he hired a friend of mine to pack up his decorations for each season and holiday, takes 3 8 hours days of packing and moving stuff to change seasons.........

 

I ususally put a couple strands across the front of the house and do the usual tree thing and the wife takes care of the rest.

 

Better yet... who takes Christmas lights DOWN. Oh, so redneck...

 

I am trying to help out and not use more energy than I have to yea thats my reason
