Default Garage Heat

It's a bit overkill (garage is around 15X30), but I can comfortably work in there.

I fired it up and by the time I got a tarp on the large door (guy did a real **** poor homemade dual swing out), it was already comfortable. As I type, she's at least 75 floor to ceiling in there.

Well it takes 120 AC, so no power, no heat. But it'll run on #1 and #2 diesel/fuel oil, kero, and jet fuel.

We used to run a 500,000 BTU unit in a 50x100 tent at our old shop. It used propane as fuel and had a 500gal tank to feed it. I think that's how big it was, abot 3ft diameter and 6 ft long. It worked well, but when you worked on top of a machine you sweat your ***** off. Ground level or on the floor it was still damn chilly!

They had a unit that big there as well, but it was a multi-fueled unit as well (diesel, kero, etc..). But at a price tag of $1300, I'll pass. But with a building that big, need to leave it run overnight.
