this thread started with some asshat and a stupid no workie ider he had..............I was joking bout using co2 injected into the motor........its and inert gas and cannot support combustion 
I was however serious about using it externally on and air to air exchanger

Inconel and hastelloy would be radical overkill fo this application due to being designed for high pressure and temp applications like those seen in oil/gas wells and plants. Not to mention extremely expensive. SS however would be something worth looking at using with an air to water cooler.
