Chainsaws
Im in the market for a new chainsaw since my 044 stihl was stolen and my pos little husky gave up. Ive done the research on specs and stuff but want to know what different people thought of them or any issues with them.anybody have or used a husky 395xp or maybe stihl 066 or any other big saws you have used?? i think im sticking with stihl or husky tho

I love my 044 and my 066 but I have never been as impressed as I am with the 441 stihl. Light weight and more power than my 044. You will like it and the price tag is right!

we have a husquervarna farm hand (not sure on the actual specs on it) and i absolutely love it i've cut through a 3 ft thick tree with it with no problem at all

I havent really looked into the 441 yet but i like the weight to power ratio.I really liked using the 066 it was a litte heavy but i loved my 044 i just wanted more power.Im really leaning on this husqvarna 395xp with a 42" oregon bar,24" carlton and a spinner/breaker for 600 bucks

I like the Husky. Only thing I don't like is the blades dull quick. Must be all the mesquite. :w2:

I love my husky 372 with a big bore kit. Heres a pic when it was new like 1 1/2 years ago with my ever faithful 345.

I use a junky Poulin Pro for limbing, and my husky for cutting and sectioning.

that 372 sure is purdy. i think im gunna get the 395xp I want to give a big husky a try theyre way cheaper than still for the same size saw and have a bit more power to weight ratio
---AutoMerged DoublePost--- ive always used stihl skiptooth chains they make a chain called dura something it has carbide and will last a lot longer in dirty wood or mesquite |
