Default Rent a Camaro Convertible in FLORIDA...

As some of you know my Cousin is going over there this month to attend the Turkey Run...

He's looking to rent a Convertible... preferrably a Camaro (he might settle with a Mustang, but being a GM guy he'd probably prefer a Camaro)

Does anyone know of any rentals with Camaros or similar?

We have the 3 major rental companies here in the states, Avis, Hertz, and Budget. Never use Enterprise, they have a habit of pulling different scams. If you rent from a major airport location they all three will have what you want, the problem is that they will not guarantee availability of any certain kind of car until the time of pickup. You just designate sports car and can in some case mark a convertible but you may get any one of a number of brands or models when you pick it up. It's the luck of the draw.

don't forget National and Thrifty, there area few more.

I have never had any issues with Enterprise except one time i got a car with expired registration but they took care of that problem very promptly.

like Bubba said, just call the major chains and see if they even offer convertible Mustangs and Corvettes and Camaros..... you can get a 1-800 number for all of them online or you can email their customer service people and they can tell you.

BTW depending on what area he will be in will also determine what cars will be available to rent.

I've used all of them and never had an issue with any. I use Enterprise more then the rest though and they have always been good to me. UB you must have a bad store or something.

Both Avis and National adverstise the Camaro as a rental unit.

I called Avis to see if they had the convertible available at the Orlando Airport...NADA.
Just the coupes.

Didn't try National. Had to get back to work.
You might give them a shout.

If he's interested, The Corvette convertible is available for rental here.
