Thats a EE bond

I Bonds are different

1 is based off of the stock market and the other the value of the Dollar

They gain interest for 30 years and mature in 5 w/o cashing in fees

i personally would not put my kids money in us bonds. there are a lot better was to put money away.

Bonds are paying much better than a saving account would be , Savings accounts are not protected from inflation either Bonds Are

good point, i aint real sure, what about the life insurance thing, let him cash it in at 18 for like 50% of what its worth.....my mom cant wait til i die, im worth more dead than alive......

I was told that the new bonds you but today only gain so much then max out. Unlike the bonds I got when I was growing up that keep increasing until I cash them in.


IM not a banker so im not sure this is 100% true
