Default CB antennas....

For those that remember what a CB is.... where do ya'll have your antenna mounted? I can't seem to get a decent ground mounting to the rack or bed and if I run a ground strap down it seems to raise the SWRs....

I don't use mine a whole lot but like listening on the highway sometimes.....thought about a mag mount but don't want to mess with putting on and off....I have a wilson center load whip style I want to use or I have a base loaded whip also I may end up going with.....

Dead center on the roof is where I put mine when I install. Not the best looking but IMO it's the best spot.

I'm running a base loaded 5' Wilson 5000 with a magnetic mount in the middle of the cab roof, it works very well with my Galaxy 959. I had a K40 that didn't tune worth a crap and threw it away.

Larson fender mount on the left side works well.
The wilson 1000 mag mount centered on the roof was good too.
Went with the fender mount because of the slide in camper setup.
