Onkyo TX-SR605 reciever
Onkyo sub, rear, center, and front L and R channels
KEF audio center channel
Sony VPL AW15 projector
PS3
Its all set up ghetto at the moment in my tiny apartment. Haven't decided how I want to set everything since the throw distance is the length of my livingroom and the screen width is about a foot under the width of the room.
In my old place I was running 7.1 with equal length liberty wire, bluejeans cable hdmi and component cables, all preinstalled behind the drywall. For now running 5.1 with crap walmart wire until I figure out how I want to do everything then I'll be building another screen and doing some proper wiring.

nice setups guys!
i have a 47" LG 1080p LCD
home-built media pc with 4TB of media storage, 7.1 optical out, hdmi out, dvd burner, and blu-ray burners.
Xbox360, PS3, NES, atari 2600, etc...
for sound im running an integra 7.1 surround receiver
Fronts are two Hitachi 3-way towers with 12" woofers, along with two 10" KLH 120w powered subs
center is an old school optimus, side and rear surrounds are 2-way KLH bookshelves
thinking about ditching my powered subs for a dual separated 12 setup running off a stand-alone power amp, anyone have any experience running anything like that? looking for input

Oh I dont know about that angelico, sounds like yours is pretty dialed!
mines hobbled together in my bachelor pad with one wall mostly brick fireplace, makes for interesting acoustics. But the receiver makes up pretty well for that.
And my house tends to get shaking too with my subs. Brings a whole new experience to movies like u-571...
maybe ill clean up a bit and snap some pics of my setup...

I've considered the idea several times before. It seems like these enclosures are purely built to be aesthetically pleasing and small footprint. However power amps are pretty pricey to push the kind of wattage I'd like to run on a custom HT sub setup.

Father in law had a Paradigm PDR-12 sitting in his garage, so he lent it to me
Makes a great addition for bridging the 17-32Hz range, i have the crossover set at c.a. 80Hz and it makes a great LFE device, although the JBL ES250 Sub is still on the "to-buy-list"
Those 1000watt JBL fronts really pump out...
