Please continue to think positive.
I was just out quoting two jobs and I felt the people are just looking for the cheapest bid possible. I refuse to just swap dollars and not pay for equipment maintenance. I’ve run into more guys that rent/lease equipment to start up a new business and underbid the competition until they go bankrupt. I did notice that they have screwed up the pricing structure for everyone else.
I should be fine for a while but I have considered thinning the fleet down for a leaner operation and raise cash if this goes on for too long.
I haven’t lost all hope yet of our economy recovering. We need warm weather for people to want things done in their yards. I also heard that I'll be receiving bid packages for Low Income / Habitat Housing from the city.
I don’t know what I’ll do for the rest of the week………..

Aarg.. that bites. And it sure can screw it up for the real companies out there. But not everyone just takes the lowest bid, alot of people want quality, reliability, experience, especially in this day of rip-off contractors. Use your good work/good ethics Karma to pull those customers in.
Warm weather is right around the corner, that's a good thing, too.
