NEW PHONE FRAUD!!!!!!!!!
I got called and wanted to make sure that none of you get tangled up in this mess. Sorry it is a little long.
I got a call two days ago, from a number in VA, with the company name VSNL AMERICA, I. Well I answer and this Indian woman asks for me by name. I just figured it is another credit card offer at first. But then she proceeds to tell me that they have info. that my credit card payments are late all the time. I say no, I don't even use my cards and when I do, I pay them off when the payment is due. Then I catch myself. I ask where they got my info from. She says that it randomly came up on there computer and that she was offering me a debt consolidation loan at 0% interest and all I had to do was to lie to their people and I would be gauranteed approval. I said wait a min. that sounds illegal and fishy to me. We start yelling at each other and I said I am done with this conversation and hang up.
Well they called me a total of 12 times but never left a message when nobody answered.
Earlier today, I remembered a web site that one of our members had posted and I am very thankful for that. Sorry I don't remember who did it, but I thank you for it. For those of you that didn't see it, here it is.

I find out that these people that are calling are frauds from hell.
The number is 703-547-6545
Here is the report that I found on this number.

If you call the number there is a message set up that says if you got a call from this number it is fraud and don't give out any info.
Well tonight they called again and I answered it. This time it was an indian guy that said his name was Alex, and that he was from the Federal Credit Bureau(sp). I said well that is funny it shows up a different name on the caller ID. He laughed and asked what it said. I told him that it wasn't important and he went on to say that I was in a recent servey in my area and I told him he was full of s***. I then told him I had done some research on the net and found out that they were a fraud and that I was going to report it. He asked if I was a computer genious, I just said no, only a smart MF. He quickly hung up.

If your number is on the national do not call list they are also held liable and owe you money for every call after the first one when you tell them to remove your name. All you have to do is report all the info you have and they take it from there. At least that's how the federal government reports that it's suppose to work.

I hate scum bags like this. It's disgusting how they take advantage of people and have no remorse what so ever.
Get one of those little, portable airhorns and keep by the phone.
