I listen to counrty quite a bit. But right now I have Hair Nation tuned in on Sirius. its all 80's hair bands.. Rock on dude!!

 

I mainly listen to Rock, so it gets my vote.

 

Im an old school cowboy, i guess, I like the old stuff, Ledoux, Merl, Willie, Johnycash, I like alot of the 80s and 90s rock and country, I do like a few songs of Big& rich, but that Cowboy troy has got to go!!!
in my opinion, you take Country+Rap= "CRAP"!!!!!!!!

Yep!, I dont know why, I think me growing up with 2 older siblings had something to do with what I listened to most of the time!!
But I am a sucker for songs from the 80s, like Madness, duran duran, Aerosmith, bonjovi, cultureclub, all that stuff!!
I spent most of my teenage years with only a tape player in my pickup truck cruising from rodeo to rodeo with nothing but like 15 different Chris Ledoux tapes, I think only like 5 of them were original, the rest where all dubbed or copied!
I think is so damn funny and neat how 1 song, no matter when you hear it, can bring back a certian set of memories, that you wouldnt otherwise really think about!!, some good, some bad, but If we aint got memories, we aint got ****!!!
My Wife hates most of the music I listen to, she doesnt understand!, she is a few years younger then me, and didnt really listen to that much music growing up, so she doesnt really understand how I can listen to such a wide variance of music, She says Im OLD!!!!!, hell, Im only 28!!!

 

dude i still have my van halen-1984 and twisted sister-stay hungry...CASSETTE TAPES!! i bought them when i was like 8. just different kind of music then. too much hating your childhood stuff now ya now IMHO. stuff back then was mostly about fighting, getting drunk, and getting laid.

i hear ya about the memories. good and bad. some songs you can just picture urself in that same situation again. there's this one travis tritt song, "you're gone", or something like that. wife and i were fighting pretty bad one time when that was on the radio. we had only been dating a few months. thought it was gonna be the end of us. i still get the chills when that song's on.
