Casual ride to work. (WOW)

Just a couple definitions regarding cycle riding on the street for those who don't appear to understand what's going on:
Lane Splitting: Carefully threading a 2-wheeled vehicle between lanes at a sane speed so as to not endanger the rider or any other motorists.
Reckless Driving: Riding wheelstands, zipping across lanes and into the opposing lanes at excessive rates of speed, endagering the rider and other motorists.

Once a motorcycle almost took out my LARGE F-250 driver side mirror squeezing in between a SUV & my truck, he lost control & wiped out, I almost ran his sorry butt over, I was so mad, that I almost stopped ran up to him & kicked him in the NUTS, but lucky for him I was in a hurry to get to work.

If he would have hit my mirror, I would have to call 911, i would be late to work Since he didn't hit my mirror, I left & don't know what happened to his butt, he did slide a long way, I was driving at about 60 MPH & he flew past me

Extreme stretching of the point: Suggesting reckless driving and lane splitting might be similar or complimentary activities - or even remotely connected in any way whatsoever.
So Begle, are you suggesting this f**ktard is lane splitting or what?
You might be surprised to hear there's lots of so-called "legal" stuff going on in Commiefornia outsiders seem to find questionable.

Tires blow, SUV's flip over and small children's decapitated heads land in their mothers' laps. Brakes give out. Linkages get stuck or break. People latch themselves into 4,000 pound vehicles and travel at 80 miles per hour. The whole idea of driving anything is dangerous.
In the case of lane splitting, or most things done on a motorcycle, the risk to the cyclist is much greater than the risk to anybody else. Cyclists have the right to knowingly take that risk to save themselves hundreds of hours a year in commuting time, and save their air cooled bikes from overheating, while not harming anybody else.
People that intentionally open their doors or get in the way of lane splitting cyclists, especially when doing so can injure the cyclist, are putting their vehicle in more danger than it would be otherwise and intentionally putting a cyclist at risk. Whether intention can be proved doesn't matter; it is morally wrong malice.

Nevermind, it's Begle logic. I get it.

Hundreds of hours? Pretty otimistic estimate you pulled out your **** there, Begle. So since the simple act of driving at all is in itself inherently dangerous, we should be glad to see a few morons taking steps to make it even more so - just for themselves, of course?
Nevermind, it's Begle logic. I get it.

Now compare my logic with the logic of the other guy...
Where is the logic in this? You don't like lane splitting because it's dangerous for the rider, so you open the door on the lane splitter and... Make it more dangerous for the rider... But if the rider was speeding and being more dangerous in the first place, then you wouldn't open the door on the rider, because that'd just be too dangerous.
What reason do you have to go out of your way to prevent motorcyclists from lane splitting? Going out of your way to prevent lane splitting will always be more selfish than lane splitting in the first place.
