i would just happen to be the one to open my door if i seen someone coming up on me like that. i cant stand people that do that. just like when u have to merge traffic for construction, and people go flying by trying to get ahead of you. i move my truck over half in both lanes to try and stop people from doing it, and then i also wont let people cut me when we get up to where they have to get over. am i a dick because of it, probably

 

Total douche move. Motorcyclists splitting lanes have their bodies and their bikes on the line, the worst thing they're going to do to somebody else is put some damage in a body panel. They're not getting in anybody's way splitting lanes, they're getting out of the way of everybody else and relieving traffic.

Lane splitting is legal in California and it works fine out here. People opening doors or getting in the way of lane splitting bikes are immature dicks and deserve an *** beating.

 

well when they pick there *** up off the ground we will see if i get one. i wouldnt do it at highway speeds, but if were in traffic, then yes. they have no more a right away then the people there passing. they want to be a dumbass, it aint my fault if i just happen to open my door to be able to reach something i dropped on the flor

The only reason to try and keep them from passing is infantile jealousy. They bug you because you're stuck and they're not. Grow up.

Just a couple definitions regarding cycle riding on the street for those who don't appear to understand what's going on:

Lane Splitting: Carefully threading a 2-wheeled vehicle between lanes at a sane speed so as to not endanger the rider or any other motorists.

Reckless Driving: Riding wheelstands, zipping across lanes and into the opposing lanes at excessive rates of speed, endagering the rider and other motorists.

 

Once a motorcycle almost took out my LARGE F-250 driver side mirror squeezing in between a SUV & my truck, he lost control & wiped out, I almost ran his sorry butt over, I was so mad, that I almost stopped ran up to him & kicked him in the NUTS, but lucky for him I was in a hurry to get to work.
