shortbus its a photo enlarged and printed (landscape) then take a razor blade around the letters FIRST. Then trace the "C" then get a carving tool and cut it out! just remember inbetween the letters you have to be careful and leave the pumpkin part that will be removed still in there when you cut the close parts as to not rip the pumpkin shell

here is the C that I enlarged in Print, I dont remember the size but it wasnt HUGE but fit on a 8"x11" paper (printed in landscape)

I picked up the carving tools at "Meijer" im sure Wal*mart has them and it was $3.99 The old lady did the stecil stuff but I went custom!!
