Toyota Strut Replacement Questions
I gotta change out the struts on a Toyota Avalon here in the next few days and it's got me stumped. The fronts look easy enough but I can't get to the towers on the rear. No access to them from the truck and I can't find any latches to fold the rear seats forward. If the car was mine I'd just go to pryin till somethin let lose but it's not.
So how do I get to the rear strut towers.

I believe its under the rear seat have to pull the butt cushion out
-edit-
with a little google searching found this for a 1998 avalon not sure what year yours is but Im sure its not much different
"For the rear struts, you have to remove the rear seat and package shelf. Not hard, but you have to remove the seat belts as well. The rear seat bottom comes out first-it has three points, each side an middle where a press fit male/female type of hold down keeps it in place. I use a putty knife-slip it between the seat and carpet and pry up-comes out easily. All the rest of the bolts, etc, are immediately apparent. "
