ATV's + Stupid People
#7
I had a 233 Suzuki through middle school. I hopped off, rolled off, fell off and flipped that thing a LOT over our time together, until I got a driver's license and grew out of it.
The handlebars on that thing looked like }~\|> by the time I was finished with it, and nothing that mounted to the handlebars was close to non-pulverized either. The plastic fenders never entirely broke by some miracle, but were awfully gouged... I never rode it for an hour without having a life-threatening incident, and somehow I never got injured on it.
Rolled over backwards during hill climbs, drove it off cliffs, hit trees, barrel rolled it from turning and catching traffic wrong, et cetera... That's what they're designed to do. That first video isn't even worth mentioning, and I laugh at the hill climb failure on the third video. I counted 7 barrel rolls one time I failed a hill climb, and I was underneath the quad on the first barrel roll.
I once mentioned getting a motorcycle license in front of my dad and friend who I used to ride with, they about died laughing... I now realize that I would die within three days of riding a motorcycle.
I rented a snow mobile once, over a day I only flipped it upside-down on three different occasions... After hitting 90 MPH on an old railroad bed on the way back to the rental shop, the shop guy flipped it over on it's side to inspect the skis and one of them fell clear off. Apparently I hit something hard enough to shear the heads off the mounting bolts somewhere along the line too. Oh, and then he charged me $700 for blowing up the engine because it dropped a cylinder somewhere along the line.
