for the mini cars, it is prety much strip it and go. leave the parking brake hooked up so u can whip the assend around quick if needed. get a set of dounut spares and put them on the rear. best snow tires u can get on the front. and a couch cushion betreen u and drivers door. last one is a good recomadation. the metal doors hurts the knee after a few hits.

3" pipe run from drivers door behind the drivers seat to the passenger door. it adds alot of structural integrity to the car. move the battery to the passenger floor so it cant get damaged. drain the antifreeze n run water instead( for the environmentalists). the radiator WILL get punctured n the motor is gonna get hot. advance the timing so you have to start it with ether when its cold but when the bitch gets hot it'll fire right back up. we double up tires but that can be a PITA. leave your front suspension alone but jack up the rear as high as the rules allow n weld the suspension solid. all this is legal stuff, atleast by our rules. also remove the heater core/ bypass it. i've seen them explode n you can get seriously burned when that car is overheated.

i'll prolly think of more as i sit here. damn i love derby season

if your running old iron find a lincon,

if they let u ditch the radiator for a radi barrel
you want the timing retard some to help it start when hot, put rly light springs in dist

My advice would be to find out how detailed the inspections are where you plan to run and then cheat accordingly.
