If suicide-through-masturbation could be literary... This crap would be it.

On June 15, 2010, the Grammy Award–winning singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan will release of Laws of Illusion. This is Sarah’s first studio album of new material in seven years, since the double–platinum Afterglow in 2003, and its twelve songs rank with the most compelling work ever cre¬ated by this gifted artist.

In the years between these two releases, Sarah has married, separated, and is raising two young daughters. These crucial life experiences have en¬riched her artistry and infused her new songs with the full range and complexity of adult emotions. In listening to Laws of Illusion, we can hear the strength of hard–earned independence; the trials of love won, lost, and found anew; and the infinite joys of living.

Because Sarah’s voice is so intimately familiar to so many of us, the experience of Laws of Illusion is a singular and special one. It’s like meeting an old friend again after long separation – and discovering that the passage of time and the accumulation of experience have only deepened rather than diminished that friendship.

The blatant lies... The horrible self-gratification... The complete failure of taste... The hilariously superficial glurgerific propaganda...

By not saying that the album was a complete scatbag rushed onto the market to synergize profits with the tour... I am now completely convinced that the only reason the album exists was a rushed money-grabbing attempt to synergize with the tour.

So when I was in Minnesota, I was listening to the satellite radio in the Hertz car.

Mercury Milan, not a bad car. Lots of get-up and go out of the V-6 and 6-speed.

Only problem was that the slap shifter was reverse pattern, and the ratchet shifter in my truck is forward pattern.

So now I need some way to keep myself from throwing my truck into 1st gear at 65 MPH next time I drive it.

Anyways, somehow I'm listening to some guys talking about summer concert tours...

And the Lilith Fair tour is going down in flames. The concert stop in my town was cancelled. They're not even breaking even.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Eat that for your uninspired, over-hyped album Ms. McLachlan! Canadian destroyer of all things holy in the world...

I feel slightly sorry for Sara Bareilles. She vocally reminds me of Eva Cassidy, and she's hot. She doesn't need ***** to be hot. She's hot. Her music's a bit on the poppy-side, not quite original enough to make her whole albums good yet. At least she writes though, unlike Cassidy. Even though the only good writings she's got are Gravity and Love Song... Eh, good point, I don't care about her either. Her failure this summer is worthwhile collateral damage to make sure Laws of Illusion isn't a success.

Hah! Nobody wants your uninspired money-making operations! Greedy female pop musicians...
