Default oil on driveway

my last engine leaked oil all over my driveway.
any suggestions on a product that will get it up?

tried muriatic acid but it appeared to eat the concrete.

First hose down the concrete then put Dawn dish soap on and spread it around with a push broom and then hose off the area. Simple Green also works.

Try Purple Power. I've seen it in regular use at an auto shop. Takes oil right off the concrete floor. Just poor it and hose it.

There's a thread on here someplace that is several pages long on this topic if you run a search. I'm on my way out for the day right now but if a link isn't posted up by this evening I'll hunt it down and put a link in here to it. It had a lot of good info.

I don't know, but I do know this.......don't ask the government or BP to get the oil off your driveway.

you can use Oil-Dri (or the common cat litter new and unused of course) and pour it over the stain, and grind it in with your foot, kind of like doing the "Twist". let it sit for a while and use a broom to move the stuff around and check on how it is doing. you may have to repeat this a few times but it is a natural environmentally friendly way to get the oil up.

I've had good luck with TSP. It's a degreasing powder. HD, Lowes and hardware stores have it. Then its just a matter of keeping the Harley's and Dodge's off it.
