I've been kinda pretending this isn't happening for the last week, but things are getting worse so I'm asking for prayers.
About 6 months ago my dad went through radiation treatment for cancer in his tonsil. He made a nearly full recovery but about 3 weeks ago he started having a lot of pain in his ribs and lower back. Last week I got a call while on vacation that he is back at M.D. Anderson cancer center in Houston. They found lesions on his ribs, spine, kidneys, liver and stomach.
His prognosis isn't good. In his current health, undergoing further treatment will kill him faster than the cancer will. Within the last week, its gone from 4-6 months to less than a month, possibly less than 2 weeks for him to be with us.

This isn't going well for anyone and I'm asking for prayers for my father and family, this isn't going to be easy for any of us. Reality has set in and there's really no chance of a recovery, so I'm asking for prayers to keep them strong and help us all make it through this. My dad is a great man and has given us all everything he could for as long as we've been around. We are all going to miss him a lot.
