Saleen S281 Extreme Ultimate Bad Boy Edition
Up for auction is this very rare Bad Boy Edition Saleen. The 2007 Ultimate Bad Boy was only made available to persons entered in the Cannonball Run. They set aside a potential of 25 to be produced, but only Nine were actually ever made. Of those Nine, Three have the glass roof option you see here. This one was not raced in the Rally, and has less than 300 miles on it.

Saleen Inc., manufacturer of the world’s fastest production car, the Saleen S7, sponsored the world’s largest road rally: "The Great American Run." This event marks the stateside arrival of Europe’s most famous road rally which took place July 29 - August 4, 2007. To celebrate the inaugural U.S. rally, Saleen Inc. had been commissioned by Cannonball Run World Events, Inc. (CRWE) to uniquely modify 25 stock Saleen S281 "Extreme" Mustangs with an additional 50 horsepower, and identical black-on-black paint and graphics packages. CRWE reserved one of the modified 600 horsepower "Extremes" for the winner of the event.

This vessel is loaded with all factory options: twin Cummins 430 hp diesels, Bow Thruster, DSS with twin receivers, Vitracor Cherry Paneling, Glendenning Cablemaster, Extended Sunshade, Bennett Auto Trim Tabs, and Sea Ray Black & Gold package with Tan Dash Gelcoat. Full Raymarine package including interfaced 10" color chartplotter display and 24mi. radar. Luxurious and spacious, features two staterooms, each with ensuite head, gorgeous master vanity, roomy salon, Clarion music system, and fully appointed galley.

This vessel, along with several others I have listed, are being liquidated by the bank. Upon careful inspection we noticed the vessel is missing the bow vent trim, dash compass, missing ceiling panel, the side stripes are scratched, and the hull has been painted.
