That happened to me when I sent an email to a guy selling a 4-wheeler on eBay.
I recently asked a guy on there if he was bidding on his own auction. He replied stating he didn't understand the question. So I explained it to him better. I never heard anything back from him. It was for a Leupold scope. I understand there are quite a few Chinese knock-offs of Leupold scopes that look like the real deal. However...they have a serial number of 888...so ask for a pic of the serial number if you bid on one.
