The last Harley worthy of competing in the motorcycle market was the Shovelhead. Everything since has just been a cashing in on the Harley name, consistent production of an underwhelming and overpriced product for the ever-growing-more-limp-wristed-wannabe market.
If it isn't due for a rebuild every 30,000 miles, doesn't leak oil, starts within ten minutes when cold, stops well or doesn't strip drive belts or throw chains on occasion, it ain't a Harley.
