Couldn't pass the deal up. Its an acer aspire.. Heard mixed things about them, but so far I like it. 14.1" screen, Intel Celeron 440 processor, 80 gig HD, 512 MB ram (upgrading that shortly), DVD/CDRW combo, built in wireless. So far I like it, and for $399 I can't complain. my 8 year old HP laptop was just about down the tubes.

I love mine. I sit here in my easy chair, watching tv and checking out the lastest threads all at the same time. Oh ya, beer on the table next to me. Can't beat it

 

Man, we think too much alike. I don't have the TV on, but I am in my recliner, and just finished a beer. Time for another I guess.

So far I am really liking this new laptop. Windows vista is nice. Still trying to get used to some features. First thing I did was to ditch IE and download firefox. I also had downloaded foxmarks for all my bookmarks, so it automatically imported them from the foxmarks server onto my new laptop

Thought about it, but this was an anniversary gift from the wife. I tried to get her to let me buy the lift, but that wasn't an option, so a laptop was it.
