Alert! Beware! I Got A Computer Virus
last night i was a fool and downloaded what i thought was an update to
"Active X" the program was called "Video Active X Access"
this is a bad virus.
i have symantec norton security software and it didn't catch it, as it normally does....
however Norton has an 800 number for direct tech support....
it was cool to watch the tech at work..... he first logged on to my computer and then started going through my files and deleting the virus....
the virus was in at lest 10 different places....
it didn't delete any of my files but it would continue to create pop-up ads for their anti spy ware.....
i saved pics of the messages that i was getting....
Norton Symantec's tech removed them all and puter is now back to normal....
they charged $99.00 for their service but to me it was worth every penny as i still use this puter in my business as well.
This company hacks into my computer and then installs a virus, then trys to sell me their antiviral software to get rid of the virus that they installed......
please don't be a fool like me and down load "Video Active X Access"

i had one nail me a while back. it popped up something about spy ware or something and i just clicked the "X" to close the window. well come to find out clicking the "X" activates their program. made a real mess outta things.
i found out after that that ANY time thoe things pop up you need to go to you task manager, highlight the program/window and then click end task. that's the only way to prevent it from installing itself.

except some of the virus files kept duplicating themselves and the pop-ups were coming every 20 to 40 seconds apart..... plus the pops were interrupting my programs..... as well as taking control of the cursor for awhile
SmithFraudFix
would most likely have found the imbedded programs in my start-up command

i was prepared to do the same thing,
except some of the virus files kept duplicating themselves and the pop-ups were coming every 20 to 40 seconds apart..... plus the pops were interrupting my programs..... as well as taking control of the cursor for awhile
