Saturday May 15th is International "Learn to Fly" day. If you have any interest you should go out to your local airport and see what its all about. We are doing alot here to try to get new people involved in aviation and I figured I'd get the word out to all of you.

 

i know how to fly...its the landing part thats hard....

It's a great music video because the pool boy gets some action and I used to be a pool boy.

It's a disturbing music video because the girl I loved had a pilot's license and the song reminds me of her. We talked about it once.

I was at her wedding. Her first dance with her new husband was to Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline". How original.

I dreamed of her Thursday morning. She was comfortably nude. I felt guilty, but it wasn't in my control. It would be better if the dream was longer than 5 seconds.

Friday morning I dreamed that I needed to go to the restroom in a high school locker room. I saw one bathroom door; it had a "Ladies" sign. So I entered the other door, only to be interrupted by a large burly woman coming out of the door who told me "This is the women's room!". Confused I went back and went in through the first door, and inside I found two more doors; one labeled "Gentlemen" and one labeled "Ladies".

I go through the "Gentlemen" door and begin to relieve myself at a urinal. Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" began to play in the room and my urine turned to blood as I started shouting at the top of my lungs "I hate Neil Diamond!". "I hate Neil Diamond!" "I hate Neil Diamond!"

I never had anything against Neil Diamond, but now I realize that I do indeed completely hate him.

So I don't like this "International Learn to Fly Day". Too many unpleasant memories.
