Default Rolled on paint jobs

I have been reading about rolled on paint jobs and was wondering if any of you have tried this? From the pics online the cars look like they were professionally painted. My brother inlaw and I just started it on his truck last night and its looking pretty good so far but it takes for ever. Everything to paint it was $35 so if it comes out nice the time it takes is worth the money saved

Here's an older thread on this topic. https://www.dieselbombers.com/bomb-s...um-roller.html
I tried it on my tractor. Looked great at first but it faded out fast, that may just be my blend of paint though.

I read it dosnt hold up to the sun real well but for $35 its worth testing it out, If it turns out good on his truck im gonna try it on mine and go over it with some clear coat

I tried clear coat, didn't go so well. Within a few minutes of the application it started liftin and peeling the paint. I tried various changes including letting it sit for a few days before i clear coated it and still got the same results. Didn't lift the whole paint job, only certain spot here and there.

My tractor stayed decent lookin through the first summer but after that it was just pretty much nothin more then a protective coat. But it was a nice protective coat, here a few years later the paint is still intact and no rust.
