Well, Yesterday i had some work to do. Your welcome for the information and if im correct the germ rate for that EZ seed is like 65%. That would mean you have to buy more and put more down to make up the low germ rate. That means more money and Im sure you want to save money so you can MOD your truck.

i put it down super thick .

we got a monsoon today and most of its half way down the yard now

So it sounds like you need to redo it. Did you lay down straw after you planted the seed on the places next to your sidewalk.

it had mulch mixed in with it , its still raining out , at least my over seeding is getting drenched on

Oh yeah, Duh. you used the EZ seed. Well when you redo it i suggest using straw over top of the seed. And the overseeding should do just fine with all that rain.
