Was it a fuel line leak this time, or a gummed up carbeurator?

If you drained the tank and ran all the gas outta the thing, it shouldn't be a gummed up carb. Did you put gas back in it before tryin to use it? Back when I worked on that kinda stuff, you'd be amazed at how many people brought stuff to us sayin it wouldn't start and you check the petro and there ain't no petro.

A cord of wood is 4' x 4' x 8' stacked, yes wood for a stove or furnace.

I heat 100% with wood during the winter I will burn between 5-6 cords a year.

There is no heat like wood heat!

Don't know what to tell you about your saw, I bought a brand new Stihl 390 with a 24" bar last year, excellent saw for firewood, have a 28" bar and it looks like I am going to need it this year.

I also have a Stihl 075 AV about 30 years old that can be a pain, doing a total rebuild on it right now. But when it comes to the big wood there is nothing like it for cutting (I have 32" to 48" bars for that.)

Yes i put Fuel in it , And Pulled on it for 30 mins When putting fuel directly into the carb it runs for a second then dies Its not getting any fuel I may try to fix it my self maybe put a pusher pump on it i have a carter on the shelf That will get its Turbo Going ...

I only use about 4 Cords My Stove has a Catalytic Combuster It Reburns The Smoke and gets every last drop of BTU's from the wood Its a nice set up

I prefer Maple , Oak , Cherry , Locus
