Man games don't have rules for "castling" and "en passant". The elegance of a game is inversely proportionate to the rules of the game.

There is no luck in Chess , there for its a game of skill and strategy, as for en passant ive played a ton of games and ive never seen anyone do that.

 

So the guy defending chess hasn't even witnessed all the nuances of its abstruse sibyllinity?

Go, Reversi/ Othello and Connect Four are also games where chance is not a factor. And they only have one kind of piece and a handful of rules.

 

Funny , we have Reversi , Battle Ship , Connect Four , Checkers and Chess

Battle Ship and Chess are the best never really played the other ones too much

 

Try Reversi. It's like Chess, only there's only kind of piece and one kind of move. And strategy is way more abstract and difficult to visualize. It looks so simple... But then you try to think about it and run out of IQ points REAL quick.
