The best 1/4 time I've seen with it is 12.03 at a 4000 foot altitude, but it's changed some since then. Added better carb, entirely new fuel delivery system, the whole Cal-Trac system, and the nitrous is back on it. I need to do some trans work on it. Needs a higher stall, and a trans brake. Regardless of what it runs it's a respectable street car that drinks pump gas with no troubles. Hoping to run some 11s this year on just the engine. We also have an 8 second dragster that satisfies the need for speed quite well.

Sounds good. Those Caltracs are pretty sweet, huh? I have a homemade set on mine and it completely changed the character of the launch, or should I say lack thereof, previously. Mine's got a mildly built '71 340 4-speed in a '74 car with a few suspension and driveline upgrades, custom 8 3/4 I built myself w/Yukon axles and a Powertrax locker. It's just a driver, never even been to the track, although I expect to try it someday to see what it'll do.

Everyone needs a good project car. Looks good to me dusty. Mine wasn't anything pretty either. You can kind of see some history here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/475940
