I dont know. The one where there was a guy standing right under the fly by didnt get **** knocked off his head. I would have dropped to the ground and like started praying if a jet flew that close to me.

 

The water is pretty much just a wake being made by the air and he is at the speed of sound or further. The vapor cloud is the shockwave produced. Here is a badass vid from the french air force. BTW number 3 is f....n sick and number 2 is a KC-135, big SOB. I had one pass 500 feet below me one night coming out of Wicita, he came out of the air force base next door. It was quite a site
