I know that people do look when you romp on it. Loud pipes = awareness.

Same goes for my truck, but if someone cannot see my truck then they are blind as a bat. It's hard to miss my quad cab, long bed, 4x4, 3" lifted, 37" tire running, Ranch Handed, straight piped rig running down the road.
The volume control on my Harley has saved my a$$ more than once...(hope that's not one of the forbidden words )

Yes, they do....but the only problem I have is most people look UP to see where the jet is going to land....
