Default Ricer Question

Okay I figure someone on here knows a little about them rice burners runnin around the road. Lately I been noticing this alum. padeye on the back right in the middle, it looks like mabe 1/4 or 5/16" thick, and has an eye maybe 2" dia. Almost looks like a recovery eye, but I dunno. Anyone know the point of this padeye?

I think they are recovery points for Rally cars. IMO the only ricers worth a damn. But alot of tools are putting them on for looks.

its a tow hook. its made for track cars not street cars but if its nice enough car you wouldn't want it towed. I had one on my 89civic ricer but it broke off in high school alone with me care'n about gas powered cars. young and dumb

I've been searchin all over and I agree with Justins answer even though I cant find anything specific. I did find a forum though witth some funny stuff on it. There is a 4 page thread about what kind of torque wrench you own.
