Default Wife+wanting a new toyota=Subaru

Well she bought this 3 weeks ago(darn car show).I wanted to know if anybody has one and how many miles are on it.Doesn't matter the year. How is it holding up.She had a 2002 ford taurus with 100,000 on it but it had a nice oil leak and the last time I changed the trans fuild in the summer it had a nice amount of metal in it.

Sister had an older Suby with 260,000 miles and ran like a top . I always wondered how far it would have gone if it wasn't for some ahole running a stop light . Timing belts were the only real work done to car besides an ac compressor every 100,000 miles . Rest was routine maintenance which I did for her

Well, I have an 89 GL Wagon turbo that went about 160k, then I swapped in an EJ22 out of a Legacy that already has about 300k on it, still runs strong.

I own a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX turbo wagon all wheel drive 5 speed purchased new. The first year I hopped it up from 227 hp to 280 hp with Cobb ecm reprogram, up pipe, catted down pipe, and put Cobb sway bars under it. Fast and handles great. 52,000 miles now, no issues at all with car. Other than the hop up, only routine maintainance, and changed the accessory drive belts last month. Love this car, set it up for towing and tow it behind my motorhome.

Be advised though, and be sure mama knows, it cannot be towed 2 wheels down with the AWD. Must be "towed" on a flat bed. If it's a manual versus auto trans, it can also be towed with all 4 wheels down in neutral - but never 2 wheels down.

I have a 1991 Subaru Legacy and it has 174k miles and it runs strong. All I have done is routine maintenance on it and replaced two ball joints. Subaru's are awesome cars. I will buy another one when this one dies.
