Showing blacks and mexicans doing home invasions only perpetuates the incredibly bad racist stereotypes that already exist in America, particularly in the south. How do you expect it to change if that's what's shown on TV all the time? I don't care if it's the truth, maybe if there wasn't so much racism and people actually respected each other then they wouldn't resort to as much crime and violence.
The difference, of course, is that if that if all the criminals were minorities there would be protests, boycotts and public outrage.
