Congratulations to Jamie McMurray for his Daytona 500 win.

I was hoping that Matt Kenseth, Elliott Sadler or Junior would win, but ultimately I'm glad that a Toyota didn't win.

That long-*** delay to fix the track was irritating, though.

yeah i was happy to see jr. too
but what i dont get is that they make that shark fin bigger to reduce the car being fliped at high speeds but they make the restrictor plates less to gain more hp

 

Yeah JR really shot that hole at the end. It was a good race just took forever with the delays.

 

PETTY & Ford's I like it....

 

They actually made the plates with LARGER holes. like 1/64th producing 12hp. Since they brought back the bump draft and slingshot the fin keeps thier *** a little more under control when a car comes up on them and gets close.

Ya JR had an awesome finish compared to his nation wide race.... I am glad to see anyone else win the 500 besides the pretty boys....

Really tho ive been to Michigan and Bristol , Rusty Wallace won both races i was at

 

They were getting more drag from the fins slowing the cars down so they had to give them a little more HP to get the speed back

 

i go to a race every year at charlotte. i like nascar but i was even a bigger fan when dale sr. was alive. been to martinsville and bristol too.
