Depends if I'm actually fixin something.

If I'm fixin to go to the store, when I get back, I done gone to the store.

Say I'm fixin to make some chili, when I'm done making it, I fixed up some mighty fine chili yall!

There are many ways to interpret southern slang, it even differs by states.

 

one of em the other day was helpin me rebuild a pump and he asked me if it had come from untogether

then when he headed to the latrine he said he was fixin to get unwatered

 

oh ..................and fixin to get the nose bag on means he is going to eat

 

 

ive never even heard some of those

 

Say you got a lot a work to do one day and someone asks you how your days going.

I'd say, "Man, I'm busier than a cat coverin $hit!"

 

one of em went to poop the other day and was missin for awhile, I asked one of the other dudes where he went and they told me he went to drop the kidds off aat the pool
