Default Is anyone here using ooma for a home phone?

I've been thinking about dropping my land line at home and would like to know if anyone here has tried the VOIP phone from ooma. I like the idea of saving about $40 per month on the phone bill.
How long did it take to get your land line number transferred to this new system?
How is the sound quality, etc?

Thanks,
Bert

Hey JAZZ, I've done allot of reading on this VOIP system and was hoping for some firsthand knowledge from fellow Bombers. If I don't get any negative feed back I'll order it this Thursday.

I bought a MagicJack...

I felt stupid buying something advertised by Billy Mays, but it works fine.

Actually, I was going to ask about that. Is anyone else running Magicjack??

We have Vonage - it works quite well most of the time. You have to have a fast internet connection though.

I had Vonage a while back but didn't care for the sound quality and random problems. I looked at the MajicJack but I don't want to be forced to leave the PC on 24/7 thats why I'm looking at the ooma system.
